The In-Home portrait experience is created in the place you already call home, where everything feels familiar, personal, and close to you.
We work with the natural light, the quiet corners, and the architecture of your home where it lends itself.
There’s no need to go anywhere or prepare anything special - you simply stay where you’re most comfortable, and I come to you.
There’s something really special about slowing down in your own environment. The place you live, move through, and exist in every day becomes part of the story we create together.
Women choose in-home sessions for many reasons - to honour a season of life, to capture themselves in a space that holds meaning, or simply because it feels easier and more natural being photographed at home. Whatever season you're in, I’ll meet you there.
Our time together is relaxed and unhurried. We’ll move through your space, following the light, pausing when needed,
and let the session unfold naturally. The images move between simple, quiet portraits through to more intimate, expressive moments - always guided by your space, your energy, and what feels right as we go.
Everything is finished in my black and white style, keeping the focus right where it belongs - on you.

IN-HOME COLLECTION INCLUDES:
PREPARATION GUIDE
Once your session is confirmed, you’ll receive a preparation guide with everything you need to know to feel relaxed, prepared and ready for your shoot.
PRE-SESSION PLANNING
A 30-minute Zoom call before your session where we can meet each other, get to know each other a little, talk through outfit ideas and what you want your portraits to say, and design your photoshoot together.
PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE
A 1.5-hour in-home photography session with Charmaine using natural light, allowing time for multiple looks, creative direction and artistic exploration.
An additional 30 minutes is allocated for arriving, settling in and packing up afterwards.
VIEWING SESSION
Approximately 2 weeks after your session, we’ll have a remote viewing session where you’ll see all of your portraits together and choose your final images.
ARTWORK & DELIVERY
Your final digital files will be delivered within 1–2 weeks after your viewing session.
Folios and printed products take approximately 3–4 weeks to be completed and delivered.
