WOMEN PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE

PREPARATION GUIDE
Once your session is confirmed, you’ll receive a preparation guide with everything you need to know to feel relaxed, prepared and ready for your shoot.
PRE-SESSION PLANNING
A 30-minute Zoom call before your session where we can meet each other, get to know each other a little, talk through outfit ideas and what you want your portraits to say, and design your photoshoot together.
PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE
A 1.5-hour photography session with Charmaine in the studio, your home or on location, using natural light and allowing time for multiple looks, creative direction and artistic exploration.
An additional 30 minutes is allocated for arriving, settling in and packing up afterwards.
VIEWING SESSION
Approximately 2 weeks after your session, we’ll have a remote viewing session where you’ll see all of your portraits together and choose your final images.

VENUE HIRE - POA
If you choose to have your session at a location outside the studio or your home, venue hire fees may apply.

TRAVEL FEE
Travel fees apply to location or in-home sessions that are more than 25km from Charmaine’s home studio.
Travel costs will be discussed and calculated prior to booking.
HAIR & MAKE-UP
I encourage you to arrive feeling like yourself - with your hair, skin, body hair and makeup done in the way
you feel most comfortable being photographed. Come ready to be photographed.
If you choose to go au naturel, amazing.
If you choose to have your hair and makeup done, also amazing.
Hair and makeup are not included as part of your session, as I truly believe you are photo-worthy just as you are.
That said, I’m always happy to recommend makeup artists I trust if you’d like professional support.
Details can be found in your Prep Guide upon booking.
Hair and makeup are arranged and paid for directly with your chosen artist.
WALL PORTRAITS
All wall portraits come matted and ready for framing.
Each portrait is presented in a white mat for protection and can be used as part of the final framing. Framing options are also available through me.
10" x 15" - $410

ARTWORK & DELIVERY
Your final digital files will be delivered within 1 - 2 weeks after your viewing session.
Folios and printed products take approximately 3 - 4 weeks to be completed and delivered.
PAYMENT & RESCHEDULING
SESSION FEE
A non-refundable session fee of $200 is required at the time of booking to secure your session date and time.
Your session is not confirmed until your payment has been received.
The session fee is applied towards your chosen portrait collection.
Payment can be made via bank transfer or credit card, with the remaining balance due on or before your session date.
If venue hire or additional travel is required, we’ll discuss this before you confirm your booking.
RESCHEDULING
If you need to reschedule, please provide 3 or more days' notice.
You can reschedule once to another available date at no additional cost.
Any further rescheduling will incur an additional 50% of the session fee.
Rescheduling within 3 days of your session, will incur an additional 50% of the session fee.
CANCELLATIONS
If you need to cancel your session, your session fee is non-refundable.
If your session takes place at a hired venue, the venue will have its own cancellation and rescheduling policies.
I’ll make sure you have all the relevant details and costs before we book, so there are no surprises.
Any non-refundable venue fees or costs incurred from changing your booking would be your responsibility.
If something unexpected or outside of your control happens, please get in touch. I’ll always do my best to work with you where I can.
